I'm Melissa...

I am a creative in the Georgetown, Ky area. I am University of Cincinnati DAAP grad and a graphic designer by profession for 20+ years. It's taken me forever to call myself a photographer. I have taken photos as long as I can remember, and now am owning that talent of mine. I absolutely have a passion for photographing sports and and storytelling through photos. You'll be able to catch me at many of the high school and middle school sporting events around Scott County during the school year!

I had someone ask me just recently what my "WHY" is. I want people—particularly girls and young women—to see how incredibly talented, confident, strong, athletic and powerful they are. Too often, girls and young ladies lack confidence and self-esteem. I want them to see what I see through that lens—how amazing they are on the field, hitting the ball, making a diving play, stealing the ball on the court, owning their position on the field. Boys and young men's sports always seem to overshadow the girls' sports. I want to help make that change. I want them to feel just as important.

Capturing these memories for these kids...showing growth from season to season...that brings me joy. Probably most of all, I love that I am able to share these photos with these talented young people and their families.
